Hana Bank has 42 percent share of Nara Sarang Card issuances; An Yu-jin card totals 158,000 accounts

Hana Bank recorded about a 42 percent share of cumulative issuances in the third-phase Nara Sarang Card project as of the end of August, after joining the programme for the first time this year. The bank said salary transfer performance for active-duty soldiers rose to about 14 times the level at the end of 2025, before implementation. It is expanding products, marketing and support programmes for service members.

Bamitoingwi warns ahead of Chuseok: beware of texts on gifts and benefits, check before clicking URLs

The Broadcasting Media and Communications Committee said on Sept. 17 it is urging users to be cautious of bait text messages ahead of the Chuseok holiday that impersonate gift deliveries or benefits. It said such messages may lure users to click URLs to enter personal or financial information or install malicious apps. It requested stronger intelligent spam filtering from carriers and device makers with KISA, and outlined ways to verify messages and report illegal spam.

Toss Mobile, Hana Bank launch partner mobile plan for Nara Sarang Card customers

Toss Mobile, the telecom subsidiary of Toss, is launching a partner MVNO plan with Hana Bank for customers of the Hana Nara Sarang Card. The plan, called \'Toss Aldot Hana Nara Sarang 71GB+\', will go on sale on Sept. 7, the company said on Thursday. It costs 38,800 won per month and provides 71GB of data. September activations get discounts for seven months, lowering the price to as little as 1,500 won a month with auto-debit.
