Bullish CEO says long-term winners could be Cardano and Midnight chain
Tom Farley, CEO of crypto exchange Bullish, singled out Cardano and Midnight as projects with long-term potential, saying the market is more likely to support multiple networks than converge on a single blockchain. He said different chains will serve different uses, from DeFi to enterprise services and regulated applications. ADA privacy chain Midnight draws attention as Charles Hoskinson says he likes new ad
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson shared a new Midnight advertisement on his X account and voiced support for it. The 47-second video highlights surveillance risks created by blockchains’ public ledger structure, warning that personal information can be exposed to malicious actors. It presents “selective disclosure” as a solution, allowing users to choose what to reveal. Midnight is Cardano’s privacy-focused sidechain that uses zero-knowledge proofs and emphasises both compliance and privacy.

ETRI marks 50th anniversary, cites 494 trillion won industrial ripple effect
Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute marked its 50th anniversary on Tuesday with a ceremony at its headquarters in Daejeon. ETRI reviewed half a century of ICT research and development and presented a vision for the next 50 years. The institute said industrial and economic ripple effects over the past 50 years total about 494 trillion won. It highlighted core technologies including TDX, DRAM, CDMA, mobile systems and AI, and awarded a researcher prize.
