Smilegate Hope Studio supports children with rare diseases through speedrun fundraiser
Smilegate Hope Studio said on Monday it has completed the 2026 Super Speedrun Marathon Lite with Bada Games to support wish-granting for children with rare diseases. The three-day event was held offline at Smilegate Campus and livestreamed on game streaming service Chzzk, drawing 85,674 cumulative viewers. Hope Studio is running a linked donation campaign through Aug. 2, with all funds to be delivered to Make-A-Wish Korea without deductions for operating costs.

Nintendo to launch $500 Switch 2 bundle in June ahead of price rise
Nintendo will launch a $500 bundle of the Switch 2 console and one first-party game in early June, ahead of a planned price increase, Engadget reported. The Switch 2 currently costs $450 and is set to rise by $50 from September. The bundle offers a choice of three titles and will be sold for a limited period until stock runs out.
