32 million dollars\' worth of stolen Ethereum moves, raising alarm over tracking Drift hack funds

Ethereum stolen in the Drift Protocol hack has started moving again, with about $32 million sent from hacker-controlled wallets to Tornado Cash in a day. Analysts identified transactions linked to an address labelled “Drift Exploiter 5” and estimated broader daily movement as high as 25,700 ETH. The activity follows about two months of inactivity and is described as a second large laundering attempt. Significant ETH is still held in hacker wallets.

Bitcoin wallet dormant for more than 10 years moves, 55.1 billion won sent to Coinbase

A bitcoin wallet linked to Irish drug offender Clifton Collins (클리프턴 콜린스) moved for the first time in more than 10 years, transferring 500 bitcoin worth about $41.52 million to Coinbase Prime, U.Today reported. Lookonchain tracked the transaction. The coins were part of 6,000 bitcoin Collins accumulated more than a decade ago. Irish authorities have been seeking access to and seizure of the bitcoin, including multiple 500-bitcoin seizures this year.

Ethereum whale moves 6,369 ETH bought at $14 nine years ago

A large whale believed to be an early Ethereum investor has moved 6,369 ether to the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken. U.Today put the value at $15.95 million, and said the holder bought the ether about nine years ago at about $14 each. Lookonchain estimated unrealised gains at about $15.86 million, implying a return of about 17,786 percent. It remains unclear whether the transfer signals a sale or a simple reallocation.
