Snapdragon Summit 2026: Qualcomm expands Snapdragon X2 Linux support to broaden agentic AI development base

Qualcomm is expanding operating system support for its Snapdragon X2 series for PCs to include Linux, aiming to let more developers and partners build agentic AI across a wider range of PC environments. Musk says Tesla to open-source Model S and X; doubts raised on scope after Roadster precedent

The Linux Foundation will hold Open Source Summit Korea in Seoul on Aug. 13 to 14 at the Grand InterContinental Parnas hotel. The programme includes 8 keynote speeches, 68 technical sessions, Ask the Experts discussions, networking events and community collaboration. Confirmed keynote speakers include Lee Hong-lak of LG AI Research, Greg Kroah-Hartman, Priya Nagpurkar of IBM, Kim Chanran of NVIDIA and Linux Foundation CEO Jim Zemlin.
