Danal to pursue JPYC payment cooperation with Line Next in Japan
Danal is working with Line Next to expand domestic real-world payments using JPYC, a digital asset linked to the Japanese yen. The company plans to build payment infrastructure connecting overseas digital wallets with South Korea’s consumer market and to broaden a global digital-asset payment ecosystem. Line Next and JPYC join hands to expand yen stablecoin ecosystem
Line Next said on Monday it signed an MOU with Japan\'s JPYC Co Ltd to use the yen-backed stablecoin JPYC in its services. The companies will broadly review applications of yen-based stablecoins across Line Next services, focusing on adding JPYC to a Line Messenger-based stablecoin wallet. They will explore cooperation on payments, rewards and campaigns, and work on technical linkage, regulatory compliance and a stable usage environment.

Metabora Games said on Sunday it has officially launched Web3 game \'Magic Squad\', developed by Neostella Games, on LINE NEXT\'s dapp portal. The hybrid title combines RPG progression elements with a roguelike format and has onboarded to LINE NEXT\'s mini dapp ecosystem through collaboration. Players can play without installing a separate app and purchase in-app items using BORA tokens. The launch also links BORA Deeps quests and adds BORA-based payment and gas abstraction features.
