Grayscale warns \'quantum jump\' could upend cryptography, calls XRP a quantum-security pioneer

Grayscale has flagged so-called quantum risk, warning that advances in quantum computing could threaten existing cryptographic systems. Citing Google Quantum AI research, it pointed to the XRP Ledger as a network already preparing for a post-quantum environment. The report stressed uncertainty over timing and said progress could arrive as a sudden leap. It highlighted XRPL’s ability to rotate cryptographic schemes through validator consensus and noted ongoing tests of NIST-approved algorithms on an alphanet.
