Algorand jumps 16 percent after Google highlights post-quantum cryptography chain
Algorand (ALGO) surged after a Google Quantum AI division white paper was released, CoinPost reported on April 4. Algorand rose about 16 percent over 24 hours on CoinGecko, taking its weekly gain above 44 percent. Google cited Algorand as a blockchain that has actually deployed post-quantum cryptography, applying the Falcon signature scheme to smart transactions and state proofs, and running PQC-protected transactions in 2025.
