LG Electronics secures in-house certification for European security rules to cut development time
LG Electronics said it will cut the time from product development to launch by strengthening its ability to respond to European security regulations. Its software-accredited testing lab under the CTO recently obtained designated test laboratory status from global certification body TUV Rheinland for the EU Radio Equipment Directive\'s cybersecurity rules. The company can now conduct certification tests in-house, avoiding overseas shipment of prototypes and reducing time and costs, while lowering the risk of information leakage.

LG Electronics launches RONi homebot AI with 15cm built-in station
LG Electronics on Monday launched its new cleaning robot, the LG Homebot AI Objet Collection RONi, adding hygiene features by applying 100C steam to both the robot body and its station. The product comes with two station options: a 15 cm-tall Hidden Station designed for installation under a kitchen sink baseboard space, and an Objet Station in a side-table form factor for independent placement. Both versions have a shipment price of 2.19 million won.

LG Electronics wins commercial display order for Frankfurt Airport new terminal
LG Electronics said on May 14 it supplied large LED signage to the new terminal at Frankfurt Airport in Germany, described as Europe’s largest aviation hub. The company installed 115 square metres of LED signage at the central Market Place area of Terminal 3, which opened in late April. LG Electronics said the signage meets European fire safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards and is designed to slow fire spread.
