Modusign, law firm Seonun partner to reduce franchise HQ contract risks
AI contract platform company Modusign said on Thursday it has signed a strategic partnership with law firm Seonun, which specialises in fair trade and franchise law. The cooperation aims to help franchise headquarters identify legal risks in advance and respond systematically across the entire contract lifecycle, from signing to renewal and expiry. Modusign said its AI-based contract management solution offers automated sorting and alerts, cutting review times. The companies plan a joint webinar as a first step.

Kevin Warsh holds 10.45 million stake in Coupang
Kevin Warsh, a former Federal Reserve governor widely mentioned as a leading contender for the next Fed chair, holds Coupang Inc shares worth about $10.45 million, SEC filings show. He owned 444,126 shares as of March last year. Warsh joined Coupang as an outside director in 2019 and chairs its governance committee. If he becomes Fed chair, he may need to step down and sell or place the shares in a blind trust.

Korea Fair Trade Commission starts review of Naver and Dunamu merger filing
South Korea’s Fair Trade Commission has begun reviewing a merger filing by Naver Financial and Dunamu. The agency said the combination of major digital platform firms could have wide effects on the digital ecosystem. It will assess competitive constraints and consumer impact. Naver would make Dunamu a wholly owned unit and build an integrated digital finance system. The companies approved a share swap in which Naver Financial will acquire all Dunamu shares.
