ETRI, Korea Army Academy to cooperate on defence AI, pursue AI glasses core technology
Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) will work with the Korea Army Academy on AI-based future defence technology. The two organisations signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday at ETRI’s headquarters for joint research, the establishment of military operational concepts and field demonstrations. A key area is ETRI’s AI in-glasses technology for personal AI agents, combining AI with glasses-type wearables to understand surroundings in real time and display needed information.
