Wconcept appoints Lee Ji-eun as new chief executive

Shinsegae Group fashion platform Wconcept said on Thursday it appointed Lee Ji-eun as its new chief executive. Lee, a fashion specialist, previously worked at fashion companies including LF and Kolon. She is Wconcept\'s first female chief executive. Wconcept said it plans to review core capabilities of its fashion vertical platform and strengthen fundamental competitiveness amid intense competition in the fashion market.

Haezoom completes 2.4 MW solar project at Kolon Industries

Next Renewable Solution (NRS), a special-purpose company established by Haezoom and GS Energy, completed three onsite PPA solar power plants at Kolon Industries\' Gumi factory, Haezoom said on Jan. 19. The combined 2.4 MW carport and rooftop facilities are expected to generate about 3.18 million kWh of renewable energy annually, enabling Kolon Industries to cut about 1,459 tons of greenhouse gas emissions a year.
