Naver, Kakao launch \'AI citizen secretary\' with Interior Ministry
Naver and Kakao launched an AI-based public service agent, \'AI citizen secretary\', in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. The companies attended an opening ceremony for the pilot service on March 9 in Pangyo Techno Valley ahead of the public launch on March 10. Users can handle electronic certificate issuance and reservations for public facilities without installing separate apps. Both services offer issuance for about 100 certificate types and searches and bookings for about 1,200 public sports facilities and meeting rooms nationwide.

KT to launch intensified network monitoring system during Lunar New Year holiday
KT said on Sunday it will operate an intensified network management system from Feb. 13 to 22 to ensure stable telecommunications services during the Lunar New Year holiday. It will conduct advance checks and 집중 monitoring at about 1,200 sites nationwide, including airports, KTX stations, highways and major commercial areas, while running 24-hour situation rooms. KT will also strengthen international communications monitoring, and carry out emergency recovery drills for wildfire and exchange fire response.

Kakao launches year-long campaign for 10th anniversary of Ryan debut
Kakao said it will run a year-long online and offline campaign themed “10 Years Together” to mark the 10th anniversary of Ryan, a flagship Kakao Friends character that debuted on Jan. 22, 2016. It will release a special video and 10th anniversary-edition products in stages. Kakao also plans limited sales and promotions through its online Friends Shop and its Hongdae flagship store.
