KT launches 10th KT Aivle School cohort to train 250 AX practitioners
KT has started the 10th cohort of its KT Aivle School programme to strengthen young people’s AI and digital transformation skills and train AI transformation practitioners needed in industry. KT held an online entrance ceremony on Sept. 29 with about 250 trainees and began the curriculum. The six-month course totals 840 hours and includes live online classes, one-on-one tutoring and project-based learning with KT experts. KT also offers certification opportunities and employment support.

Telecoms step up AI talent training from hackathons to in-house AX education
South Korea’s three telecom operators are accelerating efforts to secure talent to lead AI transformation, as they expand beyond telecoms into AI infrastructure and solutions such as data centres. The companies are widening B2B services built around AI infrastructure and say manpower is needed to connect models, data and cloud infrastructure to services. SK Telecom is expanding project-based programmes and AI security and network training, KT is running long-term and regional courses plus in-house hackathons, and LG Uplus is pushing company-wide AI use.

KT recruits 10th cohort for AIVLE School youth digital talent programme
KT said on Monday it will recruit trainees for the 10th cohort of its KT AIVLE School digital talent programme until Aug. 10. Run with the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the programme provides practical training based on AI and cloud technologies. It offers tracks for AI developers and digital transformation consultants. Trainees start in late September for about six months. Eligible applicants are unemployed people aged 34 and under who have completed at least six semesters at a four-year university.
