[DigitalToday reporter Jin-ho Lee] KT said on Monday it will recruit trainees for the 10th cohort of its youth digital talent training programme, KT AIVLE School (AIVLE School), through Aug. 10.
AIVLE School is a practical talent development programme based on AI and cloud technologies that KT runs with the Ministry of Employment and Labor. Since launching its first cohort in 2021, it has produced about 3,500 graduates.
The 10th cohort will run two tracks: an AI developer track and a digital transformation (DX) consultant track. Trainees will start in late September and take part in the programme for about six months. Unemployed people aged 34 and under who have completed at least six semesters at a four-year university can apply.
The AI developer track aims to develop talent to build services that raise companies' business value using AI and cloud technologies. The DX consultant track will train practical talent with AI and cloud capabilities along with skills for setting digital transformation strategies and solving problems.
After receiving a total of 840 hours of classroom and hands-on training, trainees will carry out projects themselves. Through project-based training that solves real industry problems, they will experience the entire process from planning AI services to development and implementation.
AIVLE School is run around project-based learning (PBL). KT operates an online training platform, AIVLE-EDU (AIVLE-EDU), to provide the same training environment nationwide. Through it, trainees can build capabilities by conducting practice and projects regardless of location. Graduates are also offered an employment support programme and opportunities linked to recruitment.
