Wavve introduces media commerce, displays Olive Young products
South Korean online video service Wavve said on Wednesday it will introduce a \"media commerce\" feature and sharply expand the number of real-time channels within its TV app to 45. From Thursday, it will add a commerce band at the bottom of KLPGA and KPGA tour golf live broadcasts and VOD screens. The first partner is Olive Young, with beauty products shown during golf viewing.

Wavve introduces HDR picture and immersive audio for sports broadcasts
Online video service Wavve said on Tuesday it will apply Dolby Vision HDR video and Dolby Atmos immersive audio to broadcasts of all events on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association and Korea Professional Golf Association tours. It said the simultaneous use of both technologies in sports live broadcasts is a first across domestic broadcasting and streaming services. The rollout begins with the 2026 KLPGA Tour season-opening event, The Siena Open 2026, which starts on April 2.

Woori Financial builds K-golf lineup from rising talent to overseas stage
Woori Financial Group said on Monday it reshuffled its 2026 roster of sponsored South Korean men\'s golfers to spread social value through sports support. It said it has built a step-by-step sponsorship system that runs from identifying promising talent to supporting players\' moves to overseas tours. The group said it began sponsoring Im Sung-jae in 2021 and has selected talent annually. It named a nine-player roster including global stars, domestic tour standouts and amateur prospects.
