KISA steps up support for public sector N2SF adoption
The Korea Internet & Security Agency said on Tuesday it has selected six consortia made up of national and public agencies and security companies to push ahead with a 2026 project to support adoption of the National Network Security Framework, or N2SF. Under N2SF, information is classified into three levels and security is applied accordingly. KISA said it will also run a verification project in July to further assess field applicability and security.

K-AI models spread to semiconductors, farm machinery and nuclear power sites
South Korean artificial intelligence models are expanding across industrial sites, from semiconductor manufacturing to autonomous farm machinery and nuclear power plant operations. SK Telecom is applying its AI model to SK Hynix work environments and is reviewing deployment at chipmaking sites. Motif Technologies and Mobirus are integrating VLA technology for autonomous farm machinery. Naver Cloud built a generative AI platform with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power. MSIT to hold information security job fair with Hyundai Motor and AhnLab
South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT will hold the 2026 Information Security Job Fair on May 27 with the Korea Information Security Industry Association. The ministry said it has held the event every year to support new information security talent entering industry. The fair offers recruitment opportunities and job information to students and job seekers. It also provides companies with job matching to find candidates. The event includes on-site interviews, hiring consultations, mentoring and job support programmes.
