A fair will be held to support information security professionals entering industry.
The Ministry of Science and ICT will hold the 2026 Information Security Job Fair on May 27 with the Korea Information Security Industry Association.
The ministry, which runs projects to train information security professionals, holds the job fair every year to support new talent entering industry. The fair provides recruitment opportunities and job information for information security majors and job seekers. It also supports job matching opportunities for companies to directly find talent tailored to their needs.
This year’s fair at the Korea Science and Technology Convention Center will run a range of programmes, including a corporate recruitment zone for on-site interviews and hiring consultations, as well as a mentoring zone, a job information zone and a job support zone to strengthen job seekers’ capabilities.
This year, 21 organisations will meet candidates, including major domestic conglomerates and public enterprises such as Hyundai Motor and KEPCO KDN, as well as information security specialised service companies, security monitoring companies and related institutions including Secui, AhnLab, SK Shieldus and the Korea Internet & Security Agency.
Anyone who hopes to find a job in information security can take part by registering on site.
Lim Jung-gyu (임정규), director general for Information Security Network Policy at the ministry, said, "As cybersecurity becomes a core asset responsible for national security and competitiveness, the role of security personnel has become more important than ever." He added, "The ministry will spare no support for the job fair that links talent, companies and education."
