KT joins World IT Show with \'Ieum\' theme, showcasing AI and 6G future

KT said on April 21 it will take part in World IT Show 2026 at COEX in Seoul from April 22 to 24 under the theme of “Ieum.” The company will showcase its artificial intelligence transformation (AX) platform vision and 27 innovation technology items, including 6G. Visitors can experience KT’s AI model “Mideum K Pro,” view agentic AI contact centre and security services, and see industry applications. KT will also offer interactive AI experiences tied to content and entertainment.

KT launches Park Yun-young leadership, pledges slimmer organization and AI B2B push

KT has named longtime insider Park Yun-young as CEO, approving his appointment at a shareholder meeting. The company is moving quickly on executive reshuffles and organisational streamlining, including a broader regional structure and simplified reporting lines. KT also plans to bolster AI-based B2B business through a new AX division and integrate its media unit into the customer division. South Korea\'s three mobile carriers kick off annual shareholder meetings season

South Korea\'s three mobile carriers are starting their annual shareholder meetings, with LG Uplus meeting first on March 24, followed by SK Telecom on March 26 and KT on March 31.
