TikTok says K-culture economic impact to reach 40.64 trillion won by 2030 as beauty, food and tourism spending spreads

The global spread of K-culture is translating into real spending in industries such as beauty, food and tourism, with the economic ripple effect estimated at about 40.64 trillion won by 2030, an analysis showed. TikTok and consulting firm Kearney released a joint report based on a survey of 3,300 consumers aged 16 to 49 in 10 countries and an economic impact analysis across six K-culture sectors.
