LG Uplus to unveil future AI call agent at MWC26
LG Uplus said on Sunday it will unveil its future AI assistant service, Ixio Pro, at MWC26 in Barcelona on March 2 local time. The company said Ixio Pro goes beyond responding to user requests by understanding conversation context and relationships to provide needed information first. At the event, LG Uplus will also present Ixio’s expansion into a voice-based super agent and a collaboration linking Ixio’s AI voice phishing detection with KB Kookmin Bank’s abnormal transaction monitoring.

LG Uplus to join MWC26 to unveil \'human-centred AI\' future
LG Uplus will participate in MWC26 in Barcelona on March 2 local time to showcase AI-based future technologies. It will set up a 872-square-metre exhibition booth in Hall 3 at Fira Gran Via for its second consecutive year. The booth will focus on \'human-centred AI\', featuring the voice-based agentic AI service Ixio and physical AI. The company will also unveil AI contact centres, AI data centres, autonomous networks, security brand IxiGuardian 2.0, voice phishing solutions and sovereign AI collaborations.

LG Uplus to showcase 10 South Korean AI startups at MWC 2026
LG Uplus said on Feb. 18 it will use MWC 2026 in Barcelona next month to present 10 South Korean AI startups on the global stage. The firms will take part in the 4YFN event to discuss technology cooperation and business links with global companies and investors. LG Uplus will support participation costs such as flights, accommodation and booth rental fees, and plans to expand global support tied to its Shift open innovation programme.
