LG Uplus will participate in MWC26 and showcase artificial intelligence-based future technologies.
MWC26, to be held in Barcelona, Spain on March 2 local time, has the theme "The IQ Era", or the future where connectivity and intelligence converge. More than 200 countries and over 2,700 companies will take part.
LG Uplus will set up a large exhibition booth spanning 872 square metres in the central area of Hall 3 at Fira Gran Via, the main exhibition site of MWC26. It follows its first standalone booth at last year’s MWC, marking its participation for a second consecutive year.
The exhibition hall will be built around "human-centred AI" that leads safety and trust, and personalization and convenience. It will introduce a future vision in which Ixio, transforming into a voice-based hyper-personalised agentic AI, meets physical AI to change customers’ daily lives.
It will also unveil an AI contact centre, an AI data centre, an autonomous network, the IxiGuardian 2.0 security solution brand, a telecoms and finance-linked solution to prevent and respond to voice phishing, and sovereign AI developed in cooperation with LG AI Research and Furiosa.
Through a hyper-personalised media art exhibition, it will visually implement "human-centred AI", the key theme of MWC26. LG Uplus will work with the UK-based global media art group Universal Everything to present a digital experience that combines AI and art.
Joon-young Jang (장준영), head of the marketing group at LG Uplus and a managing director, said, "By showcasing technology that connects people through human-centred AI, we will make LG Uplus’ efforts to create a brighter world known worldwide."
LG Uplus Chief Executive Bum-sik Hong (홍범식) and other senior executives will attend MWC26 and discuss cooperation with global companies in AI, networks and platforms. Hong will deliver a keynote speech timed with the opening on March 2 local time and present on the theme "Humanizing Every Connection" about the full-fledged era of AI call agents.
