Activision to remove Itaewon tragedy footage from \'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4\', apologises to bereaved families

Activision apologised for using real video from the Itaewon tragedy in the game \'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4\' and said it will remove the footage in an update to be released on Nov. 12. The footage appeared in a cinematic sequence after the game’s Oct. 23 launch. Bereaved families and civic groups demanded deletion, calling its use for entertainment inappropriate, while a gamers’ association sought an explanation and apology.
