Europe carmakers seek \'made in Europe\' breakthrough against cheap Chinese EVs
Renault Group\'s Romanian brand Dacia has moved production of its second-generation Spring electric car from China to Slovenia while keeping its Italian starting price at 17,900 euros. The top Journey trim also stays below 20,000 euros. The new Spring is a full redesign sharing a platform with the Renault Twingo E-Tech. It is larger than before and uses a single front motor with a 27.5 kWh LFP battery.

US reporter on China\'s EV competitiveness after driving more than 25 models
After test-driving more than 25 vehicles in China, a U.S. reporter singled out models they would want to buy, including Zeekr Mix, BYD Seagull, Xiaomi SU7 and YU7, Geely EX5 and Nio-backed Firefly. The assessment cited strong value across segments, from design and software to driving performance and interior packaging. The report said barriers still limit Chinese EVs in the United States, while overseas expansion is growing in markets such as Mexico.
