Industrial data AI startup Searchdog said on Sunday it was selected as a member of Nvidia\'s startup support programme, Nvidia Inception. The company develops technology to analyse large-scale documents and drawings that are difficult for large language models to process, targeting the engineering, procurement and construction industry. It said it supplies related services to South Korean builders including Samsung C&T and has raised seed funding and additional financing this year.

As power shortages emerge as a global challenge amid expanding AI infrastructure, Nvidia’s AI technology is being used in renewable energy that converts ocean waves into electricity. Wave energy company Eco Wave Power is developing a next-generation wave power system using Nvidia AI infrastructure and Omniverse digital-twin technology. It plans to install equipment on existing ports and breakwaters near high-demand areas, simulate designs in advance and improve reliability by moving key hardware onshore.
