Qualcomm targets budget AI laptop market with Snapdragon C

Qualcomm Technologies Inc. on Thursday unveiled its Snapdragon C Platform processor for budget PCs, targeting laptops priced at about $300. The company said the chip is aimed at students, household users and small businesses. Acer, HP and Lenovo plan to launch products using the processor in the second half of this year. Qualcomm said the platform focuses on power efficiency, longer battery life and on-device AI through an integrated NPU.
