Palo Alto Networks expands cooperation program for AI security threat response, deploys virtual patches
Palo Alto Networks on Aug. 20 introduced a new cooperation program, the Frontier AI Critical Defense Program, to respond to vulnerabilities in the frontier AI era. The company said defenders face a race against time as frontier AI models uncover previously unknown flaws faster than permanent patches can be applied. The program uses the Frontier Virtual Patching feature and the new Volted Protection detection engine to help organisations share vulnerability information and deploy virtual patches before attackers can exploit them.
