Shift Up Q2 operating profit 28.1 billion won, down 58.8 percent on year
Shift Up said on Monday its second-quarter consolidated operating revenue was 55.7 billion won and operating profit was 28.1 billion won, with net profit of 41.7 billion won. Revenue, operating profit and net profit rose from the previous quarter, but all fell from a year earlier. The company said the year-on-year decline was largely due to base effects following the PC version launch of \"Stellar Blade\" in the second quarter of last year.

Sony says it has secured memory to meet PS5 sales target, maintains profitability plan
Sony said it has secured the parts it needs to meet its PlayStation 5 sales target for 2026 even as memory prices surge on expanding AI demand. It dismissed concerns that higher memory costs could disrupt console supply and said it will continue stable hardware supply ahead of major year-end releases. Sony also said there is no change to its 2026 hardware profitability plan and it will keep it at the same level as in 2025.

Crimson Desert, Seven Deadly Sins, Cookie Run crowd March game market
South Korea’s game market in March is set for a rush of major releases and closed beta tests. Netmarble is launching Stone Age: Growing and The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin across platforms. Pearl Abyss will release Crimson Desert globally on multiple platforms. NHN plans a March launch for Dissidia Duelium Final Fantasy, while Devsisters will release Cookie Run: OvenSmash. Nexon and NCSoft will run tests for Nakwon: Last Paradise and Time Takers.
