OKX officially announces joint venture with ICE to link traditional finance and digital assets

Global cryptocurrency firm OKX on June 23 officially announced the creation of a joint venture with Intercontinental Exchange, the parent of the New York Stock Exchange. The venture will build next-generation infrastructure for tokenised financial products and digital assets. It will be owned 50-50 and is to launch as a U.S.-registered broker-dealer and futures commission merchant after regulatory approval. OKX users in the United States and overseas will gain direct access to ICE futures and the NYSE tokenised stock market.
