IBK Industrial Bank of Korea to help 5 startups enter Silicon Valley with 8-week U.S. programme
IBK Industrial Bank of Korea selected five startups to provide a 12-week incubation programme in South Korea and the United States and support their entry into the U.S. market. Its startup platform, IBK Changgong, launched the fourth Silicon Valley accelerating programme at the COEX Startup Branch in Seoul on Wednesday. The programme is run jointly with global venture capital firm 500 Global.

IBK Industrial Bank of Korea to hire 160 entry-level bank tellers in first half
IBK Industrial Bank of Korea said on Feb. 27 it will hire 160 entry-level bank tellers in an open recruitment round for the first half of 2026. Applications will be accepted through March 16. The process will include document screening, written and practical tests and interviews, with final successful candidates to be announced in June. The bank will hold an online briefing on March 3 and run campus briefings from March 4.

IBK Industrial Bank of Korea to back venture startups\' global push at CES 2026
IBK Industrial Bank of Korea said on Jan. 19 it participated in CES 2026 in Las Vegas from Jan. 6 to 9 local time, operating a standalone booth as the only domestic bank to do so. It introduced its innovation finance offerings at the IBK Innovation Hall and ran the booth with 7 startups. The bank also supported exhibits for 15 startups through the IBK Changgong Hall at the integrated Korea pavilion.
