IBK Industrial Bank of Korea said on Thursday it will hire 160 entry-level bank tellers in an open recruitment round for the first half of 2026.

Applications will be accepted through March 16. The selection process will include document screening, a written test, a practical test and interviews, with final successful candidates to be announced in June. The bank will recruit in 3 areas: general finance, digital and IT.

The bank will hold an online recruitment briefing on its YouTube channel at 3 p.m. on March 3. It will also visit major universities for offline recruitment briefings for 2 weeks starting March 4.

In addition to open recruitment, it is also conducting regular full-time rolling recruitment to secure strong talent in a timely manner.

For youth interns who can gain direct experience in on-site bank work and carry out projects with IBK Changgong innovation companies, a recruitment notice will be posted in late April.

An IBK Industrial Bank of Korea official said the bank plans to actively select capable talent so it can provide quality jobs to many young people, take the lead in creating youth employment and practise productive finance. The official said the bank also plans to run a bonus-point system again for people with disabilities and those eligible for veterans benefits to support fair hiring.
