KT tests UAM on Incheon islands, verifies 5G and satellite network stability
KT tested AI-based urban air mobility (UAM) traffic management technology and the operability of 5G and satellite communications networks in island areas of Incheon, it said. KT said it completed a public UAM demonstration with Incheon city, the Aerospace Industry-Academia Convergence Institute and the K-UAM One Team. The test applied integrated operations capabilities to routes linking Yeongjongdo and Deokjeokdo and checked data-sharing systems among related agencies.

Shinhan Bank arranges 2.28 trillion won financing for Bokjeong Station area development
Shinhan Bank has completed arranging project financing totalling 2.28 trillion won for the Bokjeong Station-area mixed-use development project. The bank said it finished arranging a second main PF loan of 380 billion won after a first main PF loan of 1.9 trillion won. The project will develop office, residential and commercial facilities around Bokjeong Station, including a 500,000-pyeong business complex cluster.

KT Cloud joins 50-MW Cheongna AI data centre project as DBO partner
KT Cloud said on Tuesday it will participate as a DBO (Design, Build, Operate) partner in a 50-megawatt AI data centre to be built in the Cheongna area of Incheon. The Cheongna AI data centre will span two basement levels and 11 floors above ground, with 50 MW of power-receiving capacity. Construction is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2026 and finish in the first quarter of 2030.
