Shinhan Bank said on April 9 it has signed a strategic business agreement with Hyundai Engineering & Construction and will introduce a wealth management model that combines housing and finance, centered on Apgujeong redevelopment complexes.

The agreement was designed to provide tailored financial services by combining Shinhan Financial Group’s wealth management brand, Shinhan Premier, with residential spaces where Hyundai E&C’s high-end housing brand THE H is applied, including Apgujeong Hyundai.

Shinhan Bank plans to work with Hyundai E&C to build a wealth management hub tailored for residents in the Apgujeong redevelopment complex. It will create a resident-only consulting space linked to community facilities within the complex. It also plans to run programs such as wealth management seminars and market outlook lectures.

The service will be run under a One-Team system in which Shinhan Bank and Shinhan Investment Corp cooperate. Shinhan Premier Pathfinder, an expert organization from the two companies, will provide comprehensive solutions across wealth management, including investment, tax, real estate, and inheritance and gifts. It will also strengthen family office-style services that support family-level wealth succession for ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Shinhan Bank plans to expand the housing-linked wealth management model in stages, starting with Apgujeong and focusing on THE H brand complexes in areas including Banpo and Cheongdam.

A Shinhan Bank official said the agreement is a new attempt to connect customers’ living spaces with financial services. The official added Shinhan Bank will continue expanding a differentiated wealth management experience across high-end residential complexes, centered on Shinhan Premier.
