Charles Hoskinson says XRP is no different from Tether; profits go to Ripple, risks to investors

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said XRP has a structure similar to Tether and argued Ripple’s business model does not deliver tangible benefits to XRP holders. He said Ripple funds operations by steadily selling XRP while holders have no rights to company profits or assets. He cited Ripple’s $1.2 billion Hidden Road acquisition and other initiatives as potentially lucrative for Ripple but not value-accretive for the token.
