Tesla starts up first dedicated Semi truck mass production plant in Nevada
Tesla has opened its first dedicated plant to mass-produce its Semi heavy-duty electric truck in Sparks, Nevada, setting annual capacity at up to 50,000 units. The Semi was first built on the facility’s high-speed line in April and is now in official operation. The company has supplied limited volumes since 2022. Large orders have been announced by ZET Scale and Einride. Elon Musk has said Tesla plans to apply Full Self-Driving to the Semi.

Tesla to install over 100 Megachargers for trucks in Europe as Semi push accelerates
Tesla will initially build more than 100 megawatt-class Megachargers in Europe in line with its Semi delivery schedule there starting next year. The first rollout covers 21 charging sites in Germany, France, Britain, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, with no completion date disclosed. Tesla says Megachargers can provide up to 1.2 megawatts and charge a Semi to 60 percent in about 30 minutes.

Tesla unveils European specs for Semi electric truck, 550-km range at 40 tonnes
Tesla has unveiled key specifications for its Semi electric truck aimed at the European market. The company says the truck can travel up to 550 km at a fully loaded gross weight of 40 tonnes and supports up to 800 kW fast charging via its Megacharger. The figures trail the U.S. version, and Tesla has not disclosed pricing or a launch timeline. Production and supply plans for Europe remain undecided.
