Hana Financial launches \'Cheongna era\' as 4,000 staff gather at new headquarters
Hana Financial Group is set to begin a full-scale move to its newly completed Cheongna Group Headquarters in Incheon’s Cheongna International City, starting a so-called “Cheongna era.” The group said it will begin placing about 2,200 employees from 10 affiliates from September, with total financial staff in Cheongna expected to reach about 4,000 including existing personnel. The move is the final step of its Hana Dream Town project begun in 2012.

Hana Financial Group has launched its 20th SMART campus ambassador programme, marking the start of official activities. The group held a launch ceremony on July 2 at its Myeong-dong building in central Seoul and announced it on July 3. A record 1,642 people applied this year and 50 university students were selected. Hana Financial Group is expanding ESG activities linked to the local community ahead of its planned September relocation to Cheongna International City in Incheon. The group said it held a staff volunteer event on May 27 near Gangnam Market in Incheon’s Seo district, combining litter collection with the delivery of “Happiness Boxes” of essential supplies to small merchants. The effort follows an April mural project at a senior cultural center.
