KT expands 5G work network hub service to public sector, applies to Gyeonggi provincial office

KT said on Sunday it has upgraded its 5G work network into a hub-based service to support flexible work environments for public-sector customers. The solution replaces wired 업무 infrastructure with a security-enhanced 5G wireless network that can apply an organisation’s internal security policies and be used without installing software. KT applied the model to the Gyeonggi provincial office, building key equipment at its data centre and opening linked networks for seven local governments.

Nexon Foundation signs MSW Creator School pact with Gyeonggi education office

Nexon Foundation said on Wednesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education to boost teenagers\' coding skills and help close the digital divide. The foundation plans to run step-by-step game creation programs at middle and high schools and link its MSW Creator School project to the province\'s Gyeonggi Shared School platform. MapleStory Worlds is Nexon\'s sandbox creation platform using MapleStory resources.

Samsung SDS holds \'Industry Day\' to share AI-based digital administration innovation cases

Samsung SDS held a \'Samsung SDS Industry Day\' seminar on March 18 at the Government Sejong Convention Center for officials from administrative and public institutions, sharing public-sector AI transformation cases and strategies. The event drew about 250 IT officials. Speakers from the National Information Society Agency and Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education presented application cases, including use of a cross-government AI common platform and a generative AI collaboration solution.
