KT signs MOU with KOSHA to spread workplace safety culture

KT said on Oct. 15 it signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency to spread a safety culture at industrial sites and narrow safety gaps between workplaces. The partners will use KOSHA\'s industrial safety expertise and KT\'s telecommunications infrastructure to cooperate on safety campaigns, public safety messaging and identifying best practices. The agreement will run for 2 years from the signing date.

KT holds \'AI for Everyone\' summit, checks service readiness with 17 firms

KT held the \'AI for Everyone Connect Summit 2026\' in Seoul on Sunday and said it plans to officially launch its \'AI for Everyone\' service in December. The integrated service aims to connect various domestic AI models and everyday services, linking participating companies\' technologies to offer AI services across areas including search, education, finance, content and real estate. Executives from 17 consortium firms attended.

Korea Post launches stamp marking 150th birth anniversary of Ju Si-gyeong

The Ministry of Science and ICT’s Korea Post said on Wednesday it will issue commemorative stamps on Oct. 8 to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Korean linguist Ju Si-gyeong. A total of 480,000 stamps will be printed. The design features a relief sculpture at Ju Si-gyeong Plaza near Gwanghwamun in Seoul and his book “Sounds of Speech.” The stamps will be sold at main post offices nationwide and through the internet post office.
