Korea Post’s Postal Service is running a prize event for customers who pay post office insurance premiums via automatic transfers from post office accounts. Eligible customers are those who newly register a post office account for premium auto-debit or switch to that method during the event period and make at least one payment. Winners will be announced on Dec. 11 on the post office savings website and the Itda Banking app.

Ray Dalio, founder of Bridgewater Associates, said bitcoin still accounts for about 1 percent of his overall portfolio and that he prefers gold as an investment priority. He described bitcoin as a type of money that cannot be printed, but cited risks including technological change and potential government intervention such as monitoring or taxation. He also reiterated concerns about regulation and said central banks are unlikely to hold bitcoin in meaningful size.
