Relu Games\' Mimesis tops 2 million in global cumulative sales
Global cumulative sales of the horror game Mimesis, developed by Krafton creative studio Relu Games, have surpassed 2 million copies. Released in early access in October last year, the title exceeded 1 million copies sold in 50 days and reached 2 million after a major update last month. The four-player co-op horror game uses AI-driven NPCs that mimic players’ movement and voice in real time. Related streaming viewing time reached about 10.34 million hours.

AI vibe coding spurs surge in mobile game releases, 180,000 launched in six months
Mobile game and app releases are rising quickly as AI coding tools spread, lowering barriers for individuals and small developers, analysis showed. Research firm ATTN Economy counted 181,000 smartphone games launched in the six months through May 2026, with iOS releases up 118 percent year on year and Android up 73 percent. Appfigures and Naavik reported similar growth in apps and new publishers, while revenue and downloads remained concentrated among large firms.

Reloogames\' Mimesis wins excellence award at Japan\'s CEDEC Awards
Krafton’s independent studio Reloogames has won an excellence award in the game design category at the CEDEC Awards 2026 in Japan for its AI-based game, Mimesis, the studio said on Thursday. The award also made Mimesis a finalist for the top prize in the category. CEDEC Awards, hosted by the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association, honours technology and developers contributing to advances in game development.
