Com2uS is working jointly with the Sungkyunkwan University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation to foster practical talent.
Com2uS said on Wednesday it will take applications through July 10 for the first cohort of its AI-based game client development specialist training course, dubbed AI Campus.
The AI Campus is designed to foster practical talent that can apply artificial intelligence to actual game content development. Anyone with work experience in related fields, job seekers who want to become AI-convergence game client developers, and graduates or prospective graduates in related majors can apply.
The programme includes a curriculum covering practical AI-convergence game design, including C#, building AI agent servers and ML-Agents reinforcement learning. Trainees will receive offline instruction at Sungkyunkwan University’s Pangyo campus for 24 weeks from July 21 to Jan. 18 next year.
The programme will also run a draft system in which current Com2uS employees participate as dedicated mentors. Trainees can complete 3 practical portfolios that can be used immediately in interviews through individual and team projects over 6 months, and the copyrights will belong to the trainees.
The training, part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s K-Digital Training initiative, is fully funded by the state. Trainees will receive a training allowance of up to 400,000 won per month, and top graduates who successfully complete the programme will be given an opportunity to be hired by Com2uS.
Com2uS will also take part in the AIEX CAMPUS FAIR on July 8 at Sungkyunkwan University’s Bundang campus, where it plans to hold a special lecture and provide recruitment consultations.
