Xpeng unveils VLA 2.0, bets on human-like driving feel

Chinese electric vehicle maker Xpeng introduced its VLA 2.0 autonomous driving system, highlighting human-like driving judgments and rapid localisation. It said its in-house Turing AI chip and simulation-based training enable more natural driving than rule-based approaches. Xpeng said the system anticipates road situations and makes context-aware decisions. It also said the new GX offers up to 3,000 TOPS and processes more data inside the vehicle. The company said it can adapt abroad without HD maps or rewriting rules.
