Nvidia H200 GPU rental rates fall 40 percent in three weeks, raising questions over AI chip scarcity
Nvidia\'s H200 GPU rental prices have fallen about 40 percent over the past three weeks, a move seen as a possible sign that years-long GPU shortages are easing. The decline is linked to demand shifting to Nvidia\'s newer Blackwell series, while supply of older Hopper chips stabilises in the neocloud market. Some warn the scarcity premium supporting Nvidia’s valuation could fade faster. Wall Street remains upbeat, citing strong results and continued AI spending.
