MiniPay launches Visa debit card, allows stablecoin payments
MiniPay, Opera\'s stablecoin wallet service, has launched a Visa debit card and is seeking to expand real-world use of stablecoins. Cointelegraph reported the card will be available across parts of Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia and Europe, allowing users to pay for goods and services with stablecoins. The card runs on Gnosis Pay infrastructure and lets merchants receive local currency via the Visa network. MiniPay is built on the Celo blockchain.

XRP death cross appears, raising risk of slide to $1
XRP has formed a death cross on an hourly chart, a short-term bearish signal, after four straight sessions of declines that pushed it as low as $1.11. The market is watching $1.29 as near-term resistance and around $1 as key support, with XRP trading between $1.05 and $1.29. Goldgenie crypto payments surge 300 percent, with clear preference for XRP
Dubai-based luxury technology and customisation firm Goldgenie said its cryptocurrency payments rose 300 percent over the past six months, with XRP emerging as one of customers’ preferred payment options. The company supports XRP, bitcoin, ether and stablecoins and said the period was its strongest growth stretch since it began accepting crypto in 2015. It cited rising familiarity with digital assets, wider stablecoin use and improved payment infrastructure.
