Humanoid robot battery race shifts to uptime as capacity expansion hits limits
Competition in the humanoid robot battery market is shifting from capacity to operating uptime as heavier batteries make robots harder to run. Most humanoid battery packs remain below 2 kWh, delivering 2 to 4 hours of use, short of an 8-hour shift. Companies are turning to integrated packs, fast charging and rapid swapping. IBK Investment & Securities sees demand becoming meaningful only with mass production, while TrendForce highlights swappable and solid-state batteries.
