EtherFi proposes deploying dedicated Aave V4 instance on OP Mainnet
EtherFi has proposed deploying its own Aave V4 lending system on OP Mainnet. It applied through a temp check to launch a white-label Aave V4 instance that would serve as credit backend infrastructure for its Visa card product, EtherFi Cash. The new instance would share liquidity with Aave but remain separated from other markets. EtherFi would handle configuration, risk parameters, liquidity and operations, while Aave would provide deployment and operating licences and take a fee from revenue.

Ethereum TVL hits 13-month low; fall below $1,800 possible
Ethereum could slide to $1,800 as a bearish chart pattern coincides with declining funds deposited on the network, a report said. Ethereum\'s total value locked fell to $116 billion, returning to levels seen in April 2025, Cointelegraph reported. Ether is down 13 percent from a multi-month high above $2,400. Analysts said a drop below $2,050 could open the way to $1,800, with $1,750 also possible.

EtherFi Cash moves from Scroll to Optimism, shifting 70,000 cards and 300,000 accounts
EtherFi will migrate its DeFi-native credit card service, EtherFi Cash, to the Optimism mainnet, The Block reported on Feb. 18. EtherFi said the move will shift about 70,000 active cards and roughly 300,000 accounts to Optimism in the coming months, along with user deposits worth several million dollars. EtherFi Cash is a non-custodial service that lets users spend stablecoin balances or borrow against staking and restaking assets.
