EtherFi has proposed deploying its own Aave V4 lending system on OP Mainnet.
EtherFi applied through a temp check to deploy a white-label Aave V4 instance on OP Mainnet. The instance will be used as credit backend infrastructure for its Visa card product, EtherFi Cash.
The new instance will share liquidity with Aave while remaining separated from other markets.
EtherFi will directly handle configuration, risk parameters, liquidity and operations. Aave will provide V4 deployment and operating licences, and Aave will take part of the revenue as fees.
The commercial terms also include GHO integration. It will deploy GHO GSM on OP Mainnet and onboard up to $175 million in assets at launch.
If the proposal is approved, it will move to the ARFC stage, with a target deployment date of July 2026.
