Gu Hyeok-chae, first vice minister at South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT, met Estonia\'s Minister of Education and Research Kristina Kallas on Wednesday to discuss cooperation in advanced science and technology. The meeting was held at Estonia\'s request. The two sides shared policy and R&D updates in energy technology, quantum, post-quantum cryptography and AI, and agreed on the need for international cooperation to secure strategic autonomy.

A vote on expanding approval for Tesla’s supervised Full Self-Driving (FSD) in Europe has been delayed until at least December, after the EU excluded the item from its Oct. 6 TCMV meeting agenda. The draft agenda shows only further discussion of a Dutch request under Article 39. Approval requires a qualified majority among member states and population thresholds. Several countries have raised objections over speeding features and safety concerns.
