Bitcoin falls as U.S. April PCE inflation dims rate-cut hopes
U.S. April personal consumption expenditures (PCE) inflation rose 3.8 percent from a year earlier, the highest since May 2023. Bitcoin weakened after the data, slipping to around $73,300 and down 2.89 percent over 24 hours to about $73,404. Core PCE rose 3.3 percent year-on-year, also matching forecasts. Markets focused on the likelihood of rates staying high longer, with CME FedWatch pricing a 98.9 percent chance of no change in June.

Polymarket puts 2026 enactment odds for CLARITY Act at 73% ahead of May 14 review
Polymarket raised the implied probability that the U.S. CLARITY Act, a crypto market structure bill, will be enacted in 2026 to 73 percent. BeInCrypto reported the figure rose from 46 percent in early May, with attention on a May 14 Senate Banking Committee meeting in Washington. The bill cleared the House last July but stalled in the Senate. Industry groups are still seeking changes, including to a revenue-related compromise affecting stablecoin issuers.

NHN collectible RPG Abyssdia tops Google Play popularity rankings
NHN said on Tuesday that its collectible role-playing game Abyssdia has ranked No. 1 on Google Play’s popularity chart since its launch. The game features the unknown black space called the Abyss Slit, “Tuners” who cleanse objects tainted by it, and the daily life and adventures of “Vanguard girls.” To mark the ranking, NHN is giving all users who log in by March 31 an in-game currency reward of 1,000 Est.
