NHN said on Tuesday it has officially launched collectible role-playing game Abyssdia, developed by Ring Games and serviced by NHN, in global markets including South Korea.
Abyssdia is a collectible RPG set in a world tainted by an unknown black space called the Abyss Slit.
The company said the game’s key differentiators are continuous action battles based on attribute links and chained play across its content. It said detailed story development acts as a key factor that increases attachment to characters and immersion, allowing users to grow with characters and share emotions. It said each character’s personality and hidden narrative are delivered more vividly through detailed direction and dedicated music.
To mark the global launch, Abyssdia is running an event that lets users receive benefits by simply logging in. It said all users who log in will receive 100 percent guaranteed essential items for early progress, including SR-grade character Elena, 1,400 Est, 10,000 Mana Rings, 10 standard tickets and 100 experience potions.
A special login event to celebrate the global launch has also been set up. It said users who log in for 10 days through March 23 will receive an additional 20 premium tickets and 20 standard tickets, and those who complete game-play missions running through May 7 can obtain various growth items, including Est, action power replenishment potions and enhancement stones.
A special story event called Endless Rabbit, which lets users experience the narrative of key character Rachel in depth, is also under way.
Jung Joong-jae (정중재), head of NHN’s game business division, said, "We have prepared various events so that users can grow together with the coordinator and the Vanguard girls and enjoy abundant items and special stories." He added, "We plan to provide an immersive game through Abyssdia’s chain-action battles, character-focused story and affinity content, and we will continue to work to ensure it can be a game that users can be satisfied with."
