SKT, KISTI develop digital twin-based quantum cryptography network verification technology
SK Telecom has developed digital twin technology with the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information to verify the performance and operability of quantum cryptography communications networks. SKT said it unveiled the jointly developed technology at ECOC 2026 in Malaga, Spain. The core is a real-time link between SKT’s quantum key management system and KISTI’s QKD simulator through an ETSI standards-compatible interface.
